COVID Recovery Financial Assistance Application

Households in the Coachella Valley (within the designated cities) who meet the eligibility requirements may receive up to $500 in financial assistance to pay for childcare, healthcare, or household care expense(s), not to include rent or mortgage.

Eligible households:

  • are residents of the Coachella Valley (within the approved cities/zip codes)

  • can demonstrate a reduction in household income as a result of COVID-19 (i.e. reduced work hours, unemployment, or leaving work to care for a school-age child, etc.)

  • are unable to pay a healthcare, childcare, and/or household bill due to a demonstrable COVID-19 related financial impact

Please visit https://unitedwayofthedesert.org/covidfund for a more detailed description of eligibility.

This application will allow you to upload your eligibility documentation. Here is what you will need:

  • A government-issued form of identification

  • Documentation demonstrating a COVID-19 related financial impact

  • A copy of your bill(s) for which you are requesting assistance

You will NOT be eligible for assistance without providing the above eligibility documentation. A complete application, including uploaded eligibility documentation, is REQUIRED for application submission and to be considered for assistance.

Please limit applications to one per household. Do not apply under different names/emails/phone numbers. Duplicate applications may result in delayed processing.

In order to check the status of your application in our Portal, you will have to use the same email that you provide here.

Should you not have an email address, you can use your phone number instead.

Note, it can take approximately 15 minutes to complete the application as you will be uploading the documents throughout the process.
